In my project entitled, “The Plague of Domestic Insanity” I attempt to explore the relationship between a young brother and sister living together in their family's home in rural Pennsylvania. Within the guise of a directed stage narrative, I get closer to understanding the bond between these siblings than possible with a truly documentary approach. The technique creates a dichotomy between how I understand and interpret the subject’s relationship to one another and how the subjects see themselves.
